“Women who color their own hair do not go out with movie stars!”
So, what am I doing going on a date with him
I’m a wardrobe stylist with a resume full of fake job experience (when my resume was accurate no one wanted to hire me). I drive a crappy car and I have $37.58 in my bank account.
He is People’s Sexiest Man Alive who lives in a beach house (read: mansion) in Malibu.
We are all wrong for each other for a number of reasons. The main one being: I hate everything about him.
Finn Dalton is arrogant, cocky, and self-involved.
He thinks he’s God’s gift to women and the fact that he has bedded almost every available (and unavailable) woman in Hollywood supports that theory.
I hate him…so what am I doing here? Why do I keep saying yes?
Yes, to a date. Yes, to a kiss. Yes, to this
And what happens when the one person who is all wrong is the only one who’s right?

**This is a standalone contemporary romance.
***Previously  published under the name Wealth/The Date, but this edition has been significantly updated

  • Sweet and innocent

This book was sweet and innocent. It was a lot different than other books from this author. Would have liked to see more steaminess between Chloe and Finn. I feel like it was a big tease.
  • Delicious Enemies to Lovers romance

I’m not a big fan of movie star romances, but this one is awesome! Not too fluffy, but light. The sexual tension is steamy. Chloe and Finn have amazing chemistry. Couldn’t put it down! It’s an Enemies to Lovers romance you’ll crave and won’t be able to put down!

Another very enjoyable piece of work by Charlotte Byrd can’t wait for more
  • Great story

Loved as “The Date” thought that the revisions made in this version really enhanced the story line. Love the connection between the characters and the vulnerability displayed by the male lead

I received this as an ARC and am providing my personal feedback. I read this book when it was previously released as “The Date”. I enjoyed that edition but enjoyed the additional changes that were made to the re-release.
